Mrs May Oinn is a mature aged business lady, who has been involved in business for the last 30 years. May is dedicated to her family, and if asked, would tell you that nothing is more important than her husband of 39 years, her 2 children and 5 grandchildren. Having been raised in a house alongside 8 sisters and 8 brothers May understands too well the need to fight for survival. “I had an awesome father and still have an amazing mother. Memories of my childhood are full of love, fun and laughter and although most definitely not born with the proverbial silver spoon in my mouth, I could not have asked for a more wonderful upbringing.”
May has always been a highly innovative person and her life has been one adventure after another, although it wasn’t until around the age of thirty that she decided to take on the business world. One of her first business projects was to build up a very run down, badly located Hair Dressing Salon, and although she had no experience in this area and only $20.00 in her wallet, within a week she had 6 staff and had the phones running hot with prospective clients. How? Just ask May. Within months she had also rented the empty shop next door and started an equally successful Acrylic Nail Salon. By the end of 12 months she had sold both for a very good profit. And so May has continued for the last 30 years, either building up failing businesses, or establishing her business concepts and selling these in a short period of time for profit. “Although not all my business ventures were as successful as I would have desired, I have learned through my mistakes over the years, what does work and what does not work".
Currently May is leaning more to investments on a personal level, and has several properties both local and interstate. But she has a heart as big as the ocean, just ask anyone who knows her, and this is one of the major reasons for the inception of P.O.W.E.R. PARTNERS.
Her intention is to try and make a difference to help other people already in business, or those who wish to start a business, not only for the mature aged, but also for the younger generation and at the same time establishing relationships with like minded people. “You can promote almost anything through P.O.W.E.R. PARTNERS. There is an abundance of opportunities for everyone over the age of 18, regardless of nationality, education, finance or health.”
May has called the business P.O.W.E.R. PARTNERS, which is the abbreviation for Prosperous Opportunities Whilst Establishing Relationships. “Prosperous does not only mean acquiring wealth, but also love, health, joy, peace, laughter and good friendships, aspects of life sadly lacking in today’s society."
May is a Christian and firmly believes that god has inspired her with this whole concept.
The bible say’s “It is not money which is the root of all evil, but the Love of money.” So let’s not get too greedy and see our families destroyed in the process of acquiring wealth, but rather, let’s keep a perspective on what we do, have some fun and establish some lasting relationships in this whole adventure.
